DIY cut out shoulder shirt

 BEFORE
AFTER

This is a really simple DIY I thought I’d show post! I have been eying up a similar UNIF shirt that is stunning, but a tad out of my price range. So here is my attempt at making a slightly cheaper version!

All I did was cut the shoulders out of an old shirt, & hem the edges. I told you it was simple! I got a bit 'scissor happy' & made the cut out shoulders quite big, but I kind of like how it looks. The main thing is getting the cut outs the same.. I just folded the shirt in half & cut it all together :)

Hope you like!

playsuit love

Sunglasses - Primark, Playsuit - c/o Motel Rocks, Belt - New Look, Velvet Shirt - Charity Shop Boots - Docs

I cannot believe how cute this playsuit is. The pattern is perfect for summer.. or it would be if we were actually having a decent one! It looks like a cute little dress from the front. Everybody knows that I love cute little dresses, but I don’t have to worry about losing my dignity in this beaut.

The lippy I’m wearing is called 'Ignite' by Illamasqua, a gorgeous orangey-red colour. I really should wear it more. I love blondes with red lipstick, but I always go for pinks for some reason. I'm a girly girl forevs. Every time I wear the playsuit I go for this lipstick, perfect match don’t you think?!

P.S my hair is slightly dishevelled as it was raining when I took these pictures. No way was this weather going to stop me! Dedication at its best ;) ha.

cat & moon tee

Hat - Primark, Necklace - DIY, Tee - c/o The Kitten's Whiskers, Tights - Henry Holland, Creepers – Underground via Ebay, Red Bracelet - Vintage

I've been trying to find something to wear with these tights & finally found it in the form of a baggy tee. It is just too adorable. I'm a massive mad cat lady, so anything with a kitty on is going to be a hit with me. It's hand made by Laila, who ethically sources the majority of her products (another hit). She has some really cute upcycled goodies, so definitely have a look at her shop 'The Kitten's Whiskers'. Pop 'FASHIONINFLUX15' in at the checkout to get 15% off.. wahay! Laila also has a lovely blog where you can also have a gander at some of her DIYs. Have a little nosey here!

I've had a small spend (whoops) that could become a haul if people would be interested? I've only got a few bits but some of them were bargains!

impress nails

BRACELETS
Born Nostalgic & Vintage

I thought I'd pop on a few of my fave bits of jewellery to show you these lovely Impress nails. I was going to call this post ‘Impressed with Impress Nails’, but could not cope with that amount of cheese. Ha. I’d heard some really good reviews about them so decided to get a few sets when I found them for £2.50 in a local cheap shop. I’ve had them on for four days now & there’s no sign of them budging! The only one I have lost is the finger that I suck (yes that’s finger, not thumb.. & yes I am 20 & should definitely sort my life out haha!), but even that lasted a good two days! I’m a strange ‘un. I don’t think I’ve ever used DIY false nails that I’ve ever been this satisfied with.. they have even coped with me struggling to get two sun loungers out (for that brief moment that the UK was sunny). I’m not sure I’d buy them regularly at their full price, but for a night out or a few glam days they are definitely worth it!

Now if they could make a set that are long & pointy then that would be extra perfect!

cut out shirt & disco pants

Sunglasses - Primark, Shirt - c/o Glamorous, Disco Pants - American Apparel, Boots - Primark

Another disco pants outfit. Let’s be honest, they go with almost everything! Especially shirts. So naturally, this one from Glamorous went straight on with them. I love the cut out detail. This outfit is quite smart for me, but I just thought it was lovely for a Pizza Express date! How gorgeous would this shirt look as work wear?! It’s something that’s a bit different but not too out there.

I'm selling a few bits & bobs on Ebay! Most of the bits aren't really my style any more, but I'm sure they'll be somebody elses! I've got a pair of Levi shorts up that are pretty cute :)

tie dye dress

Sunglasses - H&M, Necklace - c/o Little Teacup, Dress - c/o Sheinside, Bustier - Primark, Shorts - H&M, Boots - Primark, Ring - H&M

I’m pretty sure a lot of you will have seen this dress doing the rounds. I’ve been lusting after it since seeing it on a few gorgeous blogs (*ahem* Lucy you hottie!). I was debating whether or not to get it, but finally caved in when I saw it on the Sheinside website. How glad am I that I did?! It is more wearable than you would imagine. I keep throwing it over boring outfits & I’m ready for the day. The material is really soft, I hate it when something is beautiful but scratchy! I do have to admit that I got a bit carried away in the pictures, thinking I’m Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge.. in the lacy black outfit?! Gosh I hope you know what I mean. Ha.

body con dress

Hat - Local Market, Poncho - Local Market, Dress - c/o Motel Rocks, Bracelet - Born Nostalgic, Socks - Topshop, Creepers - Ebay

I can't help but love body con dresses. I have way too many. They can look so great dressed up with heels for a night out but can also be cute with extra bits to make them more casual. I love the pattern on this beauty, it so looks hot with a (fake) tan! I'll be wearing this dress for girly nights, but I'm sure it'll be making numerous appearances with creepers/Docs/Converse :)

Today I've been out at Whitby being crazy. That's if crazy is having chips & fish and a wander along the sea front! Ha. I was hoping to find some cute gothy jewellery but there was nothing quite in my price range.. Wah!

It's the last few days to enter my giveaways, definitely get entering ;)

sheer black skirt

Floral Crown - c/o Dolly Bow Bow, Necklaces - DIY, Jumper - Charity Shop, Skirt - c/o Sheinside, Boots - Docs

It’s another bad day for pictures. And there I was thinking I had (kind of) mastered this photography lark!

This skirt from Sheinside is my new love. When I first got it, I thought it was a bit of an awkward length. However, since I’ve been wearing it with my boots I’ve realised it is just right. Whenever I buy maxi skirts/dresses, they constantly trailing on the floor (short person problem only). This beaut falls nicely above my boots when I wear it on my waist. Anything sheer & black is always a winner to me!

Speaking of boots, I really need to stop wearing my Docs. They’re probably my favourite shoes. Ever. I’m thinking of getting another pair.. why do they have to be so expensive?!
