Skirt - Topshop (£10), Floral Headband - Topshop (£7ish), Fingernail Rings - Topshop (£6ish), Real Techniques Expert Face Brush - Boots (£9.99), Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush - Boots (£6.99), Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette - Debenhams (£20), Purse - Topshop (£7ish),Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes Gift Set - (£13ish)
(Sorry about all the 'ishs'.. I bought some of these things a while ago & my memory isn't the best!)
Does anyone else think the sales have been a bit rubbish this year?! I haven't really seen any amazing deals.. I always feel like
Christmas & birthday spends should be used for a special treat. More often
than not it just gradually disappears until I end up with 10 things from
Primark that I really didn’t need. This year I wanted to only spend if I found
something that was really worth it. I’ve been drooling over the Jeffrey Campbell
Coltranes for months so they are an option.. Do I really need another pair of
shoes though?! Probably not!
The bits I did get I love! I treated myself to a few
beauty items even though they weren’t sale buys. I had been wanting to add to my
collection of Real Techniques brushes for a while so they had to be added to my
Boots basket. The Urban Decay Naked palette probably wasn’t a necessity but I’ve
been lusting after it since it came out. I’m a neutrals kind of girl so it’s
perfect for me. The last beauty item, a cute Lancôme set was a little New Year’s Day
present from my mamma.. what a babe.
I always think Topshop is a bit hit & miss in the sales
but I did find this beaut of a skirt. I cannot cope going into shops that have
stock that I've never seen in the shop & hasn't been fashionable for years. Do they think we’re daft?! Ha. Anyway, the skirt was a good find.. it’s
checked, pleated & velvet. Hello combination of dreams.

Yeah the sales haven't been amazing this year! Probably because most stores have had big sales throughout the year whereas before they didn't do that. Cute skirt!

The sales were quite bad this year! I didn't want to buy a lot of stuff i didn't need and the sales always trick people into doing that! You have got some good things though! Love the Headband and skirt!
