DARK LIPS AND SILKY SHORTS

Jumper - Boohoo, Shorts - c/o Oh My Love London, Boots - c/o Deichmann, Black Ring - Lola & Grace, Small Stone Ring - c/o Astrid & Miyu, Other Rings - Pandora

So glad I can wear this jumper again. It's one of my favourites but it's the kind you can only really wear on those extra chilly days. Granted, it's wasn't that chilly (yep, I am wearing shorts) here but I just wore this instead of something lighter with a coat.

The shorts are a new pair from Oh My Love. They're super silky and kind of remind me of fancy pyjama bottoms. If they're comfy enough to sleep in (I may or may not have had a nap in them..) then they're a hit with me.

WHITE JEANS & CHELSEA BOOTS

Jacket - New Look, Choker - Topshop, Top - H&M, Belt - Next, Jeans - Zara, Boots - c/o Deichmann

It's a official. Woodland walks are an Instagrammer's dream. I was snapping pictures of everything and anything whilst we were on this little wander.. Definitely making the most of Autumn being super pretty. Me & my ma traipsed off to the woods to get some pictures in my new boots.. I get a bit bored of my usual spot in the garden. The boots are part of the #adayinmydeichmanns campaign - the hashtag basically summarises what it's all about! A day in your favourite Deichmann shoes.. so here's my day. Doing autumnal stuff and wearing my new boots in. Lovely.

I am kind of dishevelled here. It was getting towards the end of blustery Sunday. My makeup has blown off into oblivion and my hair's got that unbrushed thaaang going on. Winter for me means a good few months of looking less than perfect.. The beauty routine gets somewhat neglected when you're battling with wind, rain and freeze ya nips off cold.

SHIRT & SHORTS

Scarf - Boohoo, Shirt - Zara, Shorts - Charity Shop, Coat - H&M, Boots - Forever 21

I'm keeping this short and sweet, mainly because this outfit is in my A/W Lookbook and I'm also wearing stuff I've talked about plenty of times before. I guess my wardrobe is a bit samey but you can only have so many clothes right?! Don't get me wrong, I probably spend more than I should on clothes, but I still have favourites that I always go back to.

I'm just kind of comfy here. Lots of layers, nothing too tight or smart. This was the outfit I ended up spending the rest of the day in after filming.. I was just off to town and it seemed alright for the current weather sitch - autumnal but definitely not freeze 'ya nips off cold. While I'm managing without tights I usually go for this coat - it covers me up a bit so I don't feel too much like I'm thinking it's still the summer.

MAXI SKIRT & A BERET

Beret - Boohoo, Jumper - Primark, Skirt - Primark, Boots - Forever 21

Thought I'd post another one of the outfits from my A/W Lookbook video today.. The pictures turned out looking kind of autumnal so I thought I'd put them up on here. I like being able to have a look through all the old posts and  flick through seasons.. It's a like a little diary.

For me this is pretty cosy for this time of year, but I know some people will probably think maxi skirts are a summer thaaang. I'm as cosy in this as I would be in a pair of trousers - plus I can add a sneaky pair of tights on when it's really nippy. Maybe even a second pair. Oh God it really does get that cold doesn't it.. I always forget how chilly two pair of tights season is.

PLEATED SKIRT & TARTAN

Hat - H&M, Top - Topshop, Scarf - Boohoo, Skirt - Topshop, Boots - Forever 21

I feel a bit like a detective or something. A detective in a mini skirt. Hmm, I dunno. I guess there's something about the hat and the scarf. Yup, I know I may as well be wearing that scarf in every other post but it is one of my favourites. Look how freakin' huge it is. I may as well just walk about with a blanket.

I guess other than wrapping up in that tartan thing I'm not very autumnal. Yup, no tights and no jacket. Blehhh I just can't get used to having to wrap up so much. Thankfully, it's still not that chilly up north.. I'll just be adding extra layers as it quickly becomes baltic. For now, braving it in a mini skirt.

SHEARLING JACKET & HEELS

Choker - eBay, Necklace c/o Elkin, Crop Top - Primark, Jacket - c/o Oh My Love London, Skirt - c/o Fenchurch, Heels - c/o Dorothy Perkins

I'm totally going a bit gothy looking in preparation for Halloween.. with the spooky season coming around it just makes me want to slap on the black eyeliner and dark lippy. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can pull that off for a day at work. POOK. For the next couple of weekends, each day is an excuse for a nod to Halloween.

Anyhoo, this outfit is glam for me. I'm wearing heels FGS. I don't even wear heels that much these days, I've never got anywhere schmancy to go, plus I can't walk in the bloody things. I did swap to boots when I headed out (I couldn't quite brave Starbucks in heels.. Bit much y'know). Even still, a pencil skirt makes me feel a bit dolled up. I wanted an outfit to go with a couple of new wardrobe additions. The jacket is my latest for staying cosy this winter - it's super snuggly. That little necklace is the other newbie. It's from Elkin - they do some really cute mixed metal jewellery. They're worth checking out, plus they've given me a 25% off discount code for you all if you're fancying a treat - just enter 'FASHIONINFLUX' at the checkout.. Happy shopping!

FUR GILET & FLARES

Hat - Boohoo, Fur Gilet - Boohoo, T-Shirt - c/o LNA Clothing, Flares - H&M,

I think flares are kind of big right now, don't you? I've seen loads of people wearing them recently and I'm obsessed. They're just good with lazy tees like this one and make a nice change from skinnies. This pair I've had lurking in my wardrobe for a good couple of years.. I tend to fetch them out in the winter as they need leggings or tights under them (they're lace.. ain't no way I'm flashing that much leg!). Still thinking I need a denim pair.. Trying to justify it by telling myself I'd wear them a lot.

Other than that I'm wearing a lot of favourites that you've probably seen before. I'm loving getting back to all these A/W favourites - the gilet and hat I both had last winter.. Sure I'll still wear them to death this season. I think this is my one of my most loved months.. My birthday is coming up, Halloween, it's officially autumnal but it's not freeze your boobs off cold. Lovely.

GREY OVERSIZED JUMPER

Jumper - H&M, Jeans - Topshop, Boots - Topshop

Say hello to one of my latest favourite. Yep, it's only a plain jumper from H&M but I love it all the same. It's slouchy (we all know that's my favourite thing/word), super soft and has the simplest details to make it lovely. I think it's the side slits and that dropped back.. It's just a good fit for feeling comfortable in both ways - the snuggly sort of comfy and the 'I'm not worried I'm flashing too much ass' sort.

I wore it with white jeans today as I'm a bit sick of my black ones.. It's so easy to just go for black skinnies when you don't know what to wear don't you think?! I know white isn't really a A/W colour, but I quite like it with this jumper. I'm on the hunt for the perfect casual grey trouser so I can go all matchy-matchy, but for now this will do.

CLUELESS OUTFIT

Hat - H&M, Shirt - Charity Shop, Crop Top - Topshop, Jeans - Primark, Boots - Forever 21

I had to call this 'Clueless Outfit', 'cause it's kind of got that Cher vibe going on I guess? It wasn't that I intentionally opted for dressing all 90s, I just layered up a bit and this is what we ended up with. Plus, it ties in quite well with Halloween.. Is it bad that one of my everyday outfits can also double up as a Halloween costume?! Well, if you're going for that 'I'm not making the effort but I don't wanna look like a total misery guts' sort of thing then I guess this would fit the bill. Slap on some fake blood and Scary Cher from Clueless is complete. I now really want to do this!

I'll just mention the jeans quickly as a few people asked me about them on Instagram. Like Hell am I paying £30+ for a pair of Topshop jeans with a couple of cuts in. These were £7 from Primark and I just snipped them up myself. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. Just make sure you've got your knee slits in the right place.. Nearly made that mistake myself and it would have looked STOOOPID.

DETAILS: DARK LIPS & CUT OUT TEE

Top - c/o LNA Clothing, Necklace - c/o Lola&Grace, Turquoise Ring - H&M

These are kind of my 'in-between outfits' pictures.. Where I've got something random slung on while I'm deciding what outfit to go for and end up taking a few snaps that don't really fit anywhere. Today the main thing here was the lippy and the tee. Both favourites you've probably seen before on here. It's Autumn, so naturally I'm obsessed with a dark lip, trying to be all Taylor Momsen and cool. Ain't happening, but I still like to feel a bit 'gothy' this time of year, especially with Halloween comping up (EEP - favourite holiday). The tee is one I could happily spend every day in. It's perfectly soft and hangs well, just right for my much loved lazy days. Light me a Witches Brew Yankee Candle and hand me a Pumkin Spice Latte.. I'm quite happy to be the classic girl cliche.

GREY SMART TROUSERS

Vest - Primark, Necklace - Accessorize, Trousers - Topshop, Boots - Forever 21

I actually bought these for work. I then decided they were far too nice to be worn on days sat in the office. Plus, they go with my new grey A/W wardrobe thaaang I've got going on. I've decided grey is my latest favourite for this season. I'm a bit sick of black (I know, the horror), and even though I know I'll continue to wear black outfits forever, I do think it's time for a change in terms of my 'go-to shade'. As a change I've bought a few grey A/W staples. These trousers, a few jumpers, a cardigan. I'll no doubt add more.. I can hear my bank balance shouting 'NO'.

I've been wearing these with big oversized jumpers since it's turned a bit nippy.. Midriff flashing is a thing of the past. I know I'll wear these loads this season though, fancy schmancy with a shirt or something on a night out or with lazy tees when I'm having a slob day. Unnecessary spend justified.

CREAM KNIT & PATENT

Jacket - H&M, Vest Top - Primark, Ring - H&M, Skirt - Topshop

I don't even know if I'll end up wearing this skirt this winter. I lusted over it for a good while before buying it peak chilly season, yet I've only managed to wear it a few times. I think the thing is, I'm going to hate it with tights (the god awful things..). Yep, there are some things that tights do look good with, but I'm not sure about them with this. Hence why I'm wearing it now. There's still a tiny bit of time to get away with getting my legs out, yet we're dabbling with A/W appropriate wardrobes.

So, I think from that, I've concluded that this little skirt is a September skirt. For me to wear with chunky heels or big boots and avoid tights altogether while the weather is still okay. Today I just wore it with a basic vest and my much worn H&M knit jacket. Shoes wise I was undecided at this point, but I did eventually go for cut out boots. I think I'll always be a 'boots with everything' sort of girl.

SLOUCHY MAXI DRESS & A BEANIE HAT

Hat - c/o My Brother, Dress - American Apparel, Shirt - Charity Shop, Belt - Primark, Boots - Forever 21

I think this is one of my favourite outfits in a while. It's not at all posh, I'm not really wearing anything that's 'on trend', but I know I was super comfy and felt kind of good in what I had on. Probably because that dress is a dream. It's one I found in TK Maxx for £9.99 (yep, I squealed a bit), and despite being two sizes too big I still chose to buy it. Who passes up American Apparel at that price?! It's quite oversized on me, but I like that it's a dress I can go to on a lazy day. The boob sitch is one I've battled with.. I'm always frightened I'll look down and one will have escaped. I did dare wear it last summer with my chest on show, but that was in NY, and if you can't flash the girls a bit in NY when can you? This time I just wore it with a huge snuggly scarf.. Boob slip averted.

NEW BROWS & LASHES

Necklace - c/o Lola & Grace, Vest - Primark

I thought I'd do a quick little post on my lashes, mainly because I get quite a few questions about them and don't always get chance to reply. Firstly, they definitely ain't real. Lord hell no.. I wish they were, but mine aren't half as long and fluttery looking. I haven't got terrible lashes, they just aren't quite as glam as these. I have semi permanent ones popped on every so often when I need a girly treat. It's not cheap to keep up, but it means I don't have to wear as much make up and they look freakin' fabulous compared to normal.

Brows wise, I have all that HD Brows thingymabobby done. Do I understand exactly what it is they do? No. Does it look a million times better than when I attempt to go all Cara Delevingne on them? Yep. That's good enough for me. I'm not naturally blessed with those naturally fluffy, arched brows. Mine are straight as an ironing board & each one looks like it could from a different face. Since having them HD I actually have an 'eyebrow shape'.. Basically they're now doing what they're supposed to.

So that's my little round up on my apparently less than natural face.. Ha. Girl gotta get a bit of help right?! If you are from Sheffield, I have a lovely lady called Becky to come and glam me up - she's fab. You can get in touch with her here
