THE EASY, AT HOME BLOW DRY

I flipping love a good blow dry. If I was ridonkulously wealthy I'd be the sort that goes out and has one every single day. There's just something swishy and glamorous about slick, bouncy, Rapuzel locks. My hair naturally wants to sit slapped to my head, so any chance for extra volume is always a novelty... Yet it's something I struggle with pulling off. I've never quite managed dealing with a round brush and hairdryer at home - I don't think I'm co-ordinated enough for anything like that.

I had been fancying getting the Babyliss Big Hair Styler for a while, mostly because I've spent way too long watching stylists glam up hairdos on QVC (it's my guilty pleasure). When Black Friday came around it was an excuse to buy one, but I'm so glad I did! For me, it's like the dummies' answer to a blow dry... A fail safe for adding some root lift to your life. Annnnyway, the video below shows how I do it. It also includes a voice over which ended up being like my life's work. Recording yourself trying to sound like you know what you're on about but you're also so casual and not at all scripted is bloody difficult.
