If you were a reader of my blog way back
when, you may well have seen one of my typical ‘I hate jeans’ rants. Through my
teens up until my early 20s I was never a fan – uncomfortable, awkward fitting
& just generally something I never got on with. I probably only had one or
two pairs, and even then I’d wear them infrequently.
These days, I totally get whole ‘living in
jeans’ thing. I do think this could be that I am a lot lazier with clothing
choices these days – I love having a few pairs of jeans I can pick out and
easily find something to pair with. Jeans are easy. It’s not like there’s all
that ‘shit does this even go?’… You can lob on a baggy tee and that’s an outfit
sorted.
The pair I’m wearing here are recent
additions. I picked them up from Boohoo – really cheap, but they actually fit
great! I always struggle with things being too big on the waist, but these aren’t
that bad. I’d been on the lookout for a lighter, high waisted pair for yonks,
so these fit the bill perfectly! For now I’ve been wearing them with my
favourite roll necks, but I’m already looking forward to lighter shades to
match them up with – the dusky pinks I’ve been lusting after in Topshop would
be dreeeamy!

It is so hard to find good fitting jeans. If they don't fit, it looks awkward. But if they fit, I will not get out of them anymore :)
