DR MARTENS SS16 | CHECKING OUT THE SHEFFIELD STORE
Recently the lovely folk at Dr. Martens
got in touch about visiting their Sheffield town centre store - big hoooray for anything blogger related up North! Not only that, but I'm also a big fan of Docs. I've had a few pairs over the years that I've worn out, yet still refuse to throw away. I'll alway find it exciting when a brand I really love gets in touch!
My weekend
trip involved heading to their Chapel Walk store, one that’s tucked away from
the main bit of town. I’ve popped in before, but normally just pick my Docs up
from bigger shoe chains… Actually heading in to check out all the newest styles
was way more fun – there are so many pairs that I didn't even know existed. The shop itself is also really cool, well worth a visit if you're in Sheff tarrrn.
After
hearing all about the latest collection I had the chance to try on and pick out a pair to style up. Really, this took me a whiiile. I’d decided I
fancied some of their chunky sandals, but ended up torn between a few looks. In the end, I went for the Gryphon Brando Sandals… Possibly the
comfiest thing I’ve ever worn on my tootsies. I think that was what made me go for them –
comfort is such a biggie for me these days. I do love the sturdy looking style
though, especially when they’re all black… I almost opted for the baby blue leather,
but I just know I’ll get wear out of the black ones. Chances are I'll be spending summer in these!
Dr. Martens have their new collection in stores now, with some really classic styles as well as fun looks for the sunshine season. Already thinking the blue pair would be a worthy purchase for my holibobs.
