I always struggle finding a jacket to bridge the gap between sunshine & the freeze ya bits off cold that we will no doubt soon be getting. For the next month or so, I just need something I can throw on when I think something snuggly is required. I love wearing it open because of those big lapels.. they make me feel all fancy! You know, that £5 top that you really don’t need. I’m trying to be much more of a quality over quantity kind of girl these days.. Sometimes though, Primark does come up with wardrobe staples that are too good to leave behind. Finding something that wouldn’t look out of place in Topshop is a mini achievement don’t you think?! When I put this bodysuit on, I thought the colour match was perfect & had to be appreciated. The top is actually lingerie (cheeekaaay) but it is way too pretty to be completely covered up. I feel like lingerie can be wasted tucked up under our usual layers.. That is unless you have your very own Mr Darcy sat at home. Ha. The MOM jeans I’m wearing have been my best friend for summer’s cooler days. I’m not really a jeans girl.. I always find them uncomfortable, mainly because I’m not a fan of my ass being strapped into stuff that doesn’t allow for an extra piece of cake. These light wash beauties have converted me. I wouldn’t have put neon yellow & aubergine together but I quite like it! As much as I love beanies, I wish A/W wasn’t coming quite so quickly upon us. If it was chilly enough that we all got to wear cute woolly scarves & chunky beanies then I’d be fine with that, but it’s the doubling up on pairs of tights & walking out looking like the Michelin man that kills me. Ah well, I guess the sunshine has to go at some point! While it is warm enough to get my pins out, I thought I’d wear this perforated vest/dress. One of the upsides to having stumpy legs is that a lot of tops fall quite long on me.. Don’t worry though, I’ve got a pair of shorts on to save myself from flashing my undies/scaring small children. Choker - DIY, Dress - c/o Lashes of London , Boots - Aggy X Dr. Martens When this dress arrived, I knew it was completely dreamy. It’s like 90s Cher from Clueless esq. number.. Obviously a hit with me! Anything that is an off the shoulder fit is a hit with me. I always think a bit of a collar bone is a good way to flash some flesh. Especially when you’re feeling at your summer bronze peak. I love the pale and interesting look, but when it gets to summer I want to feel like I’ve got my tan on. I’m not looking for a TOWIE style varnish, just a little glow!    I opted against heels with this dress as really, I don’t wear them all that much. I would love my life to be a tad more glamorous, so that I could spend my days tripping about to exciting meetings in Louboutin’s.. but that’s something to aim for right?!
