Okay, underwear as outerwear is no new thing. It’s been around for a while and I’ve always been a fan… Some undie-style garments are just too nice to cover up! With Winter almost upon us though, no one’s expecting much of a bra flash. Instead, I’ve been starting to layer up with my favourite chunky jumpers. The camisole style I’ve got on here is just right for me over winter – it’s lacy and pretty feminine, yet it’s something you can make really practical worn over a big knit. I picked up this one from H&M the other day as an inexpensive layering piece. It’s just something to liven up the chunky jumpers I’ll be wearing day in, day out until Spring!  The jumper is another H&M purchase I got this autumn – you can never have too many roll necks. For years, I’ve been adamant that I hate this time of year. Dark nights, freezing my nips off on a day to day basis, you know... The usual autumn/winter irritations. It’s only been recently though that I’ve actually realised it’s freaking lovely. There’s so much to enjoy about the upcoming months, opposed to me seeing it as the end of summer and a long haul slog down to warmer times. I love that autumn is a time to really embrace the duvet day. Judgement free, we can take to our beds during rainy season and enjoy making the most of cosy comforts. It’s something that I think we occasionally need – a chilled out day to sit back and enjoy doing very little. I don’t get chance to have a duvet day that often, so when it comes to it I try to make the most of my relaxation time. When & Other Stories got in touch a few weeks ago about their new store opening in Leeds I was super duper excited… Not only do I love Leeds (unaaay nostalgia!) but I’m also a lover of the brand. With October in full swing I’m finally getting into all things autumnal – hot drinks, snuggly evenings and layering up on chilly days. I also love all the seasonal events at this time of year too… Halloween and Bonfire Night are my forever favourites! It goes without saying that Halloween is fun for dressing up, but planning winter warmers for Bonfire Night is also something I love – gimme those fluffy knits! So, picking an outfit for Bonfire Night means I want something practical, without feeling like I look three stone heavier in thick clothing. Instead, I like to layer up so that I’m super snuggly, but still able to move my arms and legs. Look Again have just launched two new collections, so it’s perfect timing for picking out some faves. With a new range from Laura Scott and another from Stacey Solomon , I’m sharing my picks for AW16. First up, some newbies from Laura Scott’s latest range, with Vogue Williams the new face of the collection. Made up of wearable pieces that embody timeless classics, I’m really into these simple, monochrome styles. Any of these pieces would slot in good with my wardrobe basics and are definitely the sort of thing I’d wear day to day!
