Scarf - H&M, Shirt Dress - New Look , Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington , Black Purse - Accessorize, Ring - Pandora Lippy - Maybelline 24 Colour Pink Spice This is a bit of a 'I'm wearing all the things I just showed you in a post' post. With a few extra accessories thrown in and some DIY bodge job nails (not totally fabulous looking after a few days of wear, but they'll do). I only managed to get a few snaps on my way out, but I quite like this snippet kind of thing. I was only wearing tights and boots on my bottom half and there are only so many tights you can say about that.  With accessories, here I'm mostly wearing favourites. The camel scarf is my little bit of Kimye.. Everything camel just makes me think of sassy Kimmy K in the oversized camel coat. It goes with plenty in my hugely monochrome wardrobe. That little watch is my newest Daniel Wellington. I love how it's super traditional, I feel like I could still wear this when I'm 70 a...

TARTAN SCARF & LACE FLARES

Image
Jumper - Zara, Scarf - Boohoo , Lace Flares - H&M, Boots - Boohoo, Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington I'm back to looking hella' angry on blog pictures. BOO. I'm going to blame it on the sun.. I'm forever squinting away during the winter!  It was actually quite warm today, hence why I've not bothered with a coat. I did pop on a grey boyfriend jacket when I went out, but while I was taking pictures I risked it. I get completely bored of having to layer up to a crazy extreme (I have been known to go out in three pairs of tights.. yep, I think my feet started to go blue). Turtle necks always make you fee like you're wrapped up, and we all know I'm a huge fan of them. This one is a newbie to my collection.. I did indeed fall victim to the Zara sale. Did anyone else find any bargains?!  I will quickly mention that scarf. It's quickly becoming my favourite thing. The lovely guys at Boohoo let me take this home after the #OWNIT shoot &...

Outfit 1: Jumper - Primark, Necklace - c/o La Moda , Skirt - Topshop , Creepers - eBay Outfit 2: Crop Top - c/o Educate Elevate , Heels - Boohoo , Glasses - c/o MyOptique , Jeans - Levi's Outfit 3: Jumper - c/o  So In Fashion , Skirt - As Before , Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington , Creepers - As Before I love doing these outfit layout thingymabobbies, so hopefully you don't mind them too. For one, it takes my face out of the equation. Ha. I know this is a personal style blog, but sometimes I do wish it didn't mean seeing so much of myself, up close & in every detail. I'd say blogging definitely makes you a lot more aware of your appearance, don't you think? Sometimes it's nice to just focus on the clothes, they're the bit I want to see more of! In hindsight, I guess this would have made a better 'Topshop Vinyl Skirt Lookbook'.. but I only did two outfits. Lydia, you're a dope. I bought the skirt on pay day after lovingl...

black outfit & the cutest bag

Image
Hat - Market, Top - Topshop, Belt - Primark, Skirt - Primark, Chain Ring - c/o La Moda , Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington , Boots - Primark, Bag - c/o Brand Village You’ve got to appreciate how cold I was taking these pictures. Really cold! I cannot cope with winter, it makes dressing up so boring. Obviously I would be wearing numerous snuggly jackets over the top of this outfit, but seeing me in the same coat and scarf in every post would be so dull. Ha. I need to put my camo jacket down & stop wearing it every day of my life. I wanted to wear something all black so I could show off my crazy new bag. It might be a marmite sort of thing, but I think it’s too pretty for words! It's so detailed (the little lights & wheels are beyond cute) that it avoids being naff. I think I'm going to wear it with a plain LBD for a night out.. I love having one item that livens things up a bit! Is anyone else starting to feel festive? I've been watching...

pleated pleather & fur hat

Hat - H&M, Choker - DIY, Shirt - c/o Lovestruck , Skirt - c/o Lashes of London , Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington , Boots - Docs I actually really like what I’m wearing today. Admittedly, it’s not very weather appropriate. Whack on a pair of thick tights though & you’re good to go! & maybe a coat.. yeah a coat would make sense in the freezing cold temperatures too. I need to make a promise to wear no more all black outfits.  I've  got to get a little injection of girlyness I think. I was going to go for some sensible high waisted jeans but I tried the skirt on & thought it was way too cute! The shirt is a little beaut, how lovely is that little collar? Next time I’m going to wear something loud and colourful. Maybe. twitter  /  bloglovin  /  pinterest  / insta@fashioninflux  x

velvet dress

Image
Dress - c/o Oh My Love , Camo Jacket - Miss Selfridge, Fishnets - Primark, Flatforms - H&M, Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington Say hello to my post-spooky season dress. I know Halloween is all over with, but I just can’t help but dress like a grumpy little goth! I don’t think my miserable face is helping.. what is wrong with me?! In my defense  I think I could possibly had frostbite by the time I took these pictures. Ha. I seriously am in love with this dress. It’s velvet, short, and looks cool with fishnets. Perrrfect. Sorry if my blog is kind of becoming 100 ways to style a camo jacket. I’m home (again) which means my wardrobe is limited (again). I wouldn’t have bothered wearing it but I didn’t want you all thinking I was actually considering risking pneumonia in just the dress! I’ve got a few new goodies to show you soon. . they’ll probably feature in outfits or a mini haul, depending on if I buy anything else. I really shouldn’t, but I need glov...

crop top & mom jeans

Image
Sunglasses - H&M, Crop Top - Topshop, Belt - Primark, Jeans - Miss Selfridge, Creepers - Underground, Wildfox Inspired Jumper - c/o SheInside Right I gotta be quick because I start getting ready & transform myself into a zombie/vampie/dead girl asap! Maybe I'll post a few pictures if it's a success?! Finally found myself a pair of mom jeans that don't look completely ridiculous! I've been going into Miss Selfridge nearly every week trying on the new stock they have in their little vintage section. It's called Blue Rinse.. I'm not sure if they do it everywhere but I love their stuff. Some of it is really good value. These jeans were £22ish with student discount.. I know you can get them on eBay but it's such a faff finding a decent pair. I think £22 for Levi's is pretty decent anyway! Also treated myself to the cute green top from Topshop, it was only £9 (milking the student discount while I can) so I thought it wouldn...

dungarees & stockings

Image
Sunglasses - H&M, Fur Hood - Market, Top - Topshop, Dungarees - c/o Nordic Poetry , Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington , Stockings - Asda, Velvet Jacket - Charity Shop, Boots - Docs  It’s just a quick one today, I’m currently bogged down with uni work praying for someone to come save me & take me for a Starbucks. Not gonna happen is it.. wah! Third year is a biggie. I finally have a pair of denim dungarees! I’ve got a few pairs, but they’re summery colours. These are perfect for the winter. They’re from Nordic Poetry , who do some really cool vintage bits &bobs. I have to admit that I have been being a complete bore and just wearing them with opaque tights. It’s October and I’m already sick of tights!  Still on the quest for an amazing Halloween outfit so if anyone has any links to blog posts or similar things then let me know! Currently my only idea is ‘something dead’. Really inventive Lydia. twitter / bloglovin / pint...

side split maxi skirt & new watch

Image
Hat - Market, Choker - DIY, Necklace - Market, Jumper - River Island, Bracelets - Gifts, Skirt - Topshop, Boots - Docs, Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington For some silly reason I thought I could get away with just a bit of lippy and foundation. Evidently, blonde-ish eyelashes are not a good look! I love getting all dolled up and looking my best, but sometimes it is just such an effort. At least it’s now the season to let the beauty regime relax a little.. Bye bye fake tan disasters. I’m wearing a few new bits here. The jumper you may have seen in my birthday outfits post and the skirt is something I picked up over the weekend. I usually can’t stand Topshop.   Generally, I think it’s overpriced. Sometimes though, they do come up with the goodies (that I can actually afford!). This skirt was only £20, which I think I can cope with. I’ve been looking for a gothy number just like it for months.. happy bunny. The last newbie is my beauuudiful watch fro...
