DETAILS: EVENINGS OUT

Image
Bag - c/o Florian London , YSL Lipstick (the colour has rubbed off.. it's an oldie!), L'Oréal Nail Varnish (Beige Boheme), L'Oréal Super Liner I always think it's nice when you're off out to have a few fancy accessories. I don't go 'out out' that often so when I do I like the full dressing up process. Bit of fake tan, a new lippy, shoes that make you feel a bit sassy, y'know? These days I'm also trying to get my nails done more often. For the amount of money I spend on nail varnish that chips off or a wonder treatment that doesn't actually work I might as well just go get them done all nice. I've had these on a couple of weeks now so they have grown out a bit.. I've just repainted them with the Beige Boheme to freshen them up too. I love a good nude nail. With makeup I usually brave a bit of eyeliner when I'm going out. It's just too much for me to handle on a day to day basis.. How do people do it in a rush?! It t...

NUDE NAILS & SILVER DETAILS

Polish - Nails Inc 'Basil Street', Silver Temporary Tattoos - c/o DIY Nails Hello claaaaw. Not really a fan of my hands.. I've discovered some people have the finger version of the thigh gap, where long slender fingers don't quite sit together like my chubby sausages. Mehhh. Not much I can do about that one, so I try lengthen them a bit with nude nails.. I'm hoping it works in a similar way to nude heels? I wanted to upload this anyway as I love those finger temporary tats! I think they're aimed at sticking on your actual nails, but I thought that might be a little bit of a stretch for my first attempt (I'm not so great with fiddly things..). Now I just need a bit of a tan to add to that festival/boho sorta viiibe. Sunshine, please join us in Sheffield. I've just got this details post today as life has been busy . If you follow me on Instagram/Twitter you might have seen that I've been in Barcelona with Roxy for the last couple of days. ...

NEW IN: SUNNIES & PINK LIPS

Image
Sunglasses - New Look , Top - Forever 21, Lips - MAC Please me Some of you may have already seen these  sungigs over on my Instagram the other day. I bought them last weekend after being on the hunt for that reflective style in a frame that actually looked okay on my face. As soon as I saw these I knew I'd be getting them.. Plus, New Look sunnies are always super cheap which is perfect when you're after that sort of 'trend focused' thing! Even though they're quite chunky, I think the pink in them keeps them quite girly. I haven't managed to find the black version online (not sure if they've sold out - worth checking in store!), but the tortoiseshell frames are still on there.. I'm definitely going to pop back to New Look and get them for my jols! On the pink lips front I've updated my MAC lipstick collection with a fresh 'Please Me'. It's one that I've used a lot in the past (more dabbed on for an extra bit of pink), but...

KNEE HIGH LOVING

Image
Boots - c/o Dorothy Perkins As I mentioned, I thought I'd do a proper post on these boots seen as you couldn't really see them in my last post and they are oh so pretty. I'm always more of a boots girl, so these were a much appreciated addition to my collection. Why struggle in heels when you can add height with a pair of boots?! Dotty P have done really well with these knee high beauties. They're not vacuum packed/dominatrix style tight but they're still kind of sassy. I'm hoping they'll start to replace my Forever 21 ankle boots as my footwear of choice. The heel on these is a little bit bigger.. Always a fan of making my stubby legs look a bit longer. Anyway, I'm going to have to keep this short and sweet as I've just put some nails on that are ridiculously long and I can't type at all. It's took me about half an hour to write a few paragraphs. How do people do this?! youtube  /  bloglovin  /  twitter  /  pint...

DETAILS: STRIPES & CAMEL

Image
Scarf - H&M, Shirt Dress - New Look , Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington , Black Purse - Accessorize, Ring - Pandora Lippy - Maybelline 24 Colour Pink Spice This is a bit of a 'I'm wearing all the things I just showed you in a post' post. With a few extra accessories thrown in and some DIY bodge job nails (not totally fabulous looking after a few days of wear, but they'll do). I only managed to get a few snaps on my way out, but I quite like this snippet kind of thing. I was only wearing tights and boots on my bottom half and there are only so many tights you can say about that.  With accessories, here I'm mostly wearing favourites. The camel scarf is my little bit of Kimye.. Everything camel just makes me think of sassy Kimmy K in the oversized camel coat. It goes with plenty in my hugely monochrome wardrobe. That little watch is my newest Daniel Wellington. I love how it's super traditional, I feel like I could still wear this when I'm 70 a...

MONOCHROME DETAILS

Bag - c/o La Moda , Necklace - c/o Anna Lou of London , Lace One Piece - Primark, Shirt - c/o Dorothy Perkins , Trousers - c/o Boohoo , Heels - c/o Boohoo These snaps are just a few I took on my new camera.. I'll still stick to my DSLR the majority of the time but I've just spent the last week or so faffing around with my new gadget. My face does look a bit smudgy; it has a 'beauty' setting that makes your skin look all smooth and glowy.. Life. Changed. Ha. It's great for Instagram and general snaps, but probably is a bit full on for bigger pictures like this. I've got a post to come that includes it, so I'll probably mention how I'm getting on with it then. Outfit wise I'm actually wearing a 'going out' outfit. Shock horror. I'm always more casual, but there are odd occasions where I do get dolled up. I played it safe and went for monochrome. The trousers are newbies that I didn't want to wear somewhere boring on their...

DETAILS: TOP KNOTS & ALL BLACK

Coat - c/o Boohoo, Bra (just seen) - c/o Urban Outfitters, Leggings - H&M, Boots - Oooold.. Possibly Dotty P back in the day?! Bit of an iddy biddy post today. It's not really a full outfit, but there are few bits and bobs I can ramble on about.  Firstly the hair. I'm same old same old when it comes to my hair, so sticking a tiny bit of it up like this is different for me. I quite like this kind of thing especially when it's all looking a bit deshevilled (it definitely is). The only thing I would say is this.. NEVER THINK IT'S OKAY TO PUT YOUR HAIR IN AN ELASTIC BAND. I know, it was stupid on my part. But times are hard and hair bobbles are few. I have learnt my lesson. Other details of mention. No. 7 Nude Lip Liner, smudged in with MAC Sheer Plum lippy (I've heard it's now been discontinued.. sob). My favourite combo at the minute. There's a tiny bit of bra flashing thrown in there too. It's a super pretty strappy thing that's ...

DETAILS: DARK LIPS & CUT OUT TEE

Image
Top - c/o LNA Clothing , Necklace - c/o Lola&Grace , Turquoise Ring - H&M These are kind of my 'in-between outfits' pictures.. Where I've got something random slung on while I'm deciding what outfit to go for and end up taking a few snaps that don't really fit anywhere. Today the main thing here was the lippy and the tee. Both favourites you've probably seen before on here. It's Autumn, so naturally I'm obsessed with a dark lip, trying to be all Taylor Momsen and cool. Ain't happening, but I still like to feel a bit 'gothy' this time of year, especially with Halloween comping up (EEP - favourite holiday). The tee is one I could happily spend every day in. It's perfectly soft and hangs well, just right for my much loved lazy days. Light me a Witches Brew Yankee Candle and hand me a Pumkin Spice Latte.. I'm quite happy to be the classic girl cliche.  youtube  /  bloglovin  /  twitter  /  pinterest  /  tumblr  /  i...

CREAM KNIT & PATENT

Image
Jacket - H&M, Vest Top - Primark, Ring - H&M, Skirt - Topshop I don't even know if I'll end up wearing this skirt this winter. I lusted over it for a good while before buying it peak chilly season, yet I've only managed to wear it a few times. I think the thing is, I'm going to hate it with tights (the god awful things..). Yep, there are some things that tights do look good with, but I'm not sure about them with this. Hence why I'm wearing it now. There's still a tiny bit of time to get away with getting my legs out, yet we're dabbling with A/W appropriate wardrobes. So, I think from that, I've concluded that this little skirt is a September skirt. For me to wear with chunky heels or big boots and avoid tights altogether while the weather is still okay. Today I just wore it with a basic vest and my much worn H&M knit jacket. Shoes wise I was undecided at this point, but I did eventually go for cut out boots. I think I'll alw...
