Fashion Influx

This weekend has involved a lot of basics - clothing and lifestyle wise. I've spent most of it doing life admin, which is probably why my weekend looks have been pretty simple. On a casual day, black jeans, black boots and a simple t-shirt is enough for me. It's my favourite sort of daytime look and one that doesn't involve a huge amount of effort. In between all the grown up, adulty things I've had to get through, I did manage to film some 'get ready routine' clips. On a day to day basis I do keep things same-y, but I had a couple of new clothing bits I fancied dressing up in. The jeans and belt combo is probably something I'm going to wear to death this summer, so be prepared for seeing both a lot. Loving everything high waisted forever. Finally got round to filming another video! Even though I don't get much chance to do the whole YouTube thing properly, I am actually enjoying it more these days. The shorter videos work a lot better for me.. Uploading an 8 minute video with my wifi is a nightmare, plus it's easier for me to edit and actually get on with what I'm doing.  This look is from last weekend, when I had a bit of time to do my makeup & record what I was doing. It's not too fussy, but a bit more than I'd usually bother with on a week day. I mainly wanted to fit that dress in there. I got it from Forever 21 (shock horror) the other week.. It was only £15 so I decided I could justify an online order. I've had a hunt for a link for it but it may have gone out of stock.. You guys may be better at the shopping search than I am though. Right, I'm not going to ramble on in this one as it's just a quickie plug for my new video. I was going to film my morning routine sort of thing, but really, my morning routine ain't really that glam. This one is more of a snippet as I get ready. I've been wearing a lot of this kind of 'work-casual' thing on weekends.. I'm usually just jeans and a smarter top for work but on my day off it's quite nice to dress up like a jet setter. Lol. I dunno, I just like this smart-casual look at the minute. The minute summer comes I'll be back to ditsy dresses and all things super girly. Anyhoo, the video's below.
