PARIS FASHION WEEK | OUTFIT TWO

Did Paris ever happen?! It feels like such a long time ago now, but the year is already whizzing by. It's getting to my favourite time - warmer days, lighter evenings, with the summer still to come. If it could pause at about May then I'd be happy.  Back to Paris. It was actually quite a decent week weather wise, so I didn't feel silly with a little bit of flesh uncovered. The two piece makes a great transition piece - it's still a long sleeved knit, but the culottes make it something I'd only wear now we've broke the back of winter. I just wore it with my new Topshop dolly shoes... I'm so glad I went for these, they're just right for an in between heel - we were heading backstage so I didn't want anything that'd be too much of a pain to wander round in. I'd also had my hair done by a lovely L'Oreal stylist that morning... I'm so wishing I could manage curls as bouncy as this! I'd still got greyish tips here, wh...

PARIS FASHION WEEK | OUTFIT ONE

Everything feels way more glamorous in Paris. Fact. I know, fashion week comes with a certain level of glam anyway, but Paris just felt so swish and fabulous. I came back with serious Parisian wardrobe lusting – flouncy skirts and satiny fabrics are on my ‘to buy’ list. While I didn’t feel quite so Parisian (that ‘How to be Parisian’ book is also on my wish list), I still felt way more glam in the city of lurrrrve. It’s amazing what a big pair of sunglasses can do for you – the CĂ©line Audrey sunnies are my go-to for glam-ing things up. They hide eye bags and I can pretend I’m wearing a full face of makeup when I’ve got them on. Happy days! The two-piece I’m wearing is actually a super casual one, an option I’d usually go for as lounge wear rather than as a smarter option. The t-shirt is really baggy with an asymmetric hem, but I’ve just tucked it in here to feel more put together. With my big Topshop boots, it didn’t feel quite as casual....
