NEW FROM & OTHER STORIES

Image
When & Other Stories got in touch a few weeks ago about their new store opening in Leeds I was super duper excited… Not only do I love Leeds (unaaay nostalgia!) but I’m also a lover of the brand. It’s a site I head to and get lusty eyes over everything! They do those classic, simple styles that I love, perfect for updating wardrobe basics and adding stand out pieces. In celebration of the new store opening I’m wearing a & Other Stories outfit, featuring some of the latest from their A/W range. I actually think this is my favourite outfit in a long time! It’s kind of smart, but has that fun, girly vibe to it thanks to the bare legs. Most of what I’m wearing revolves around that coat – isn’t it a freaking dream?! I think it’ll quickly become my most worn item this winter. I’ve always been into a long coat, but this one is made beautifully and makes me feel extra swishy when I’m dashing about. Love. The new Leeds store is open from today at Victori...

LOOK AGAIN A/W HAUL

Image
A couple of weeks ago I showed you some of my favourites from two new collections from Look Again – a dreamy range from Stacey Solomon and some classic looks by Laura Scott. With A/W quickly coming round, I’ve picked out a few collection favourites for refreshing my wardrobe – think chunky knits, timeless coats and sheer layers. Stacey Solomon First up, I went extra snuggly with a few bits from the Stacey Solomon collection.  I love stocking up on fluffy jumpers at this time of year – the thought of being able to get wrapped up in an oversized knit makes the prospect of saying bye to summer not so bad! I went for the extra fluffy zip up cardigan, a good one for layering up in, then the black and white heart print knit… With a mostly monochrome wardrobe, I thought this would liven things up! Laura Scott After sorting out the cosy side of things, I picked some work wear bits ready for A/W months. The black shirt is definitely a staple, something I’ll...

LOOK AGAIN A/W COLLECTION PICKS

Image
2 in 1 Top /  ‘Marlene’ Trousers /  Pouch Bag  Following super summery styles, I’m all ready to update my wardrobe with some new pieces! Look Again have just launched two new collections, so it’s perfect timing for picking out some faves. With a new range from Laura Scott and another from Stacey Solomon , I’m sharing my picks for AW16. First up, some newbies from Laura Scott’s latest range, with Vogue Williams the new face of the collection. Made up of wearable pieces that embody timeless classics, I’m really into these simple, monochrome styles. Any of these pieces would slot in good with my wardrobe basics and are definitely the sort of thing I’d wear day to day! A favourite has to be the 2 in 1 Top, something I’d wear dressed down with the tassel tote bag. Larrrvely. The trousers are also on my wish list – just right for dressing up on an evening out, or going casual with white trainers. Sparkle Trousers /  Sparkle Turtle Neck /  Em...

BOOHOO HOLIDAY HAUL & TRY ON

Image
I’m not going to try play it cool… I’m already reaching that ridiculous level of holiday excitement. Over the last few weeks I’ve been trying to get my act together and really sort out my holiday wardrobe – in the end I opted for a big Boohoo haul, getting the bulk of it sorted in one go. This year I’ve gone extra basic. I’m sticking to the colours I know I’ll wear again, and styles that I can add into my summer wardrobe at home. Actually, everything that arrived I’ve really loved! I never want to spend too much on holibob clothing (it seems daft when you spend your days in biknis anyway), so these bits are perfect for a week when my main goal is bronzing up. We’re off to Menorca this year, so expect plenty of holiday posts throughout July. I’m really looking forward to it this time round – as much as I love holidays, I can find the process a bit stressful! I’m a bugger for letting anxiety get the better of me, but I’m feeling much more relaxed about everything...
