ROYAL ASCOT WITH NEXT | LADIES DAY OUTFIT

Heading to the races is probably one of my favourite things. Despite being more of casual dresser, I flipping love putting on a fancy frock for a girly day out. I’d never been to Ascot, so when Next asked if I’d like to head along with a few blogging ladies I was majorly up for it! I feel like Ascot is one of those schmancy days out that I’d have probably never got round to, so I’m extra happy that I’ve ticked it off the bucket list.  Outfit planning for this was pretty major. It took me a lot of uhhming & ahhing on the Next website , but eventually I decided on navy and dusky pink. I sort of felt like I should go for something summery, but this kind of look is way more ‘me’. It’s nothing out there, but it feels quite classic and feminine. Also… Can you believe the dress is only £38?! I’m so glad I went for it! It fit really well and I know it’s something I’ll wear again. The shoes and bag felt like a good contrast, while the hat was another bargain… £9 off ...

BEST DRESSED JUDGE AT THE GRAND NATIONAL

The weekend just gone, I only went & tripped off to be guest 'Best Dressed' judge for Ladies Day at The Grand National.  When Liverpool ONE & Think Publicity got in touch about it I had one of those 'u mmmm  YES' moments. I've never actually been to the races so I was excited about everything from putting my first bet on (I won a whole £4.. I'm not retiring yet!) to finding a pretty little outfit. On the day itself, t he Think Publicity team looking after us made us all feel very 'VIP'.. I definitely kept having a moment of 'is  this real life?!'.
