I’m already struggling to deal with summer being on its last legs. I don’t mind when it’s done and we’re into full blown winter, but this bit where you know you’re making the most of the last few sunny days makes me grumpy. Right now I’m enjoying what’s left of it with some summer layers – sheer fabrics & the odd bralet flash. I wore this on a pretty casual night out, so I didn’t feel quite so nuddy – I ended up hoisting up those trousers Simon Cowell style to avoid showing all my tum! The trousers I know I’ll carry on wearing into the autumn and beyond. They’re those ones from Topshop that we’ve all gone a bit mad for, but I do think they’re a good black bottoms alternative. Anything to get me out of my ripped up skinny jeans is a good thing! Sunglasses - Celine / Jumpsuit - Boohoo / Snadals - New Look I think this jumpsuit was probably one of my favourite things on holiday, mostly because it pretty much feels like I'm wearing nothing. It's such a relaxed fit in an extra light fabric, just what I'm after when it comes to warmer temperatures. I could live quite happily in this sort of thing... Gimme hippy vibes any day of the week. I've still got a few other holiday outfits to show you, but I think I'm going to just stick to the main ones - this year I really tried to enjoy things more, rather than seeing it as an opportunity to stock up on blog content. I also kept my suitcase (semi) minimal - I got so sick of hearing myself saying 'I'm not taking all that next year I've hardly worn any of it' that I actually practised what I was preaching. Dress - Primary / Bag - H&M / Sandals - New Look Day one of the holidays feels like a lonnnng time ago now... I’m still hoping I’ll fit another trip abroad in this year, but with lots of adult-y stuff going off it may have to wait ‘til the next. I so want to travel more. For the first evening I always just go for something comfortable. Chances are I’m a little bit pink and sleepy from traveling, so a relaxed fit is needed. I took a couple of these slip dresses away with me as they’re just right as looser options. Most of them I’ve picked up super cheap in Primark – if it’s just something simple like this I’m not bothered about it being mega fancy. I love a good summer collection. It gets me extra excited for the prospect of BBQs, warm evenings and trips to the seaside. Makeup wise I've just had a bit of an update for the warmer season with a couple of products from YSL's Savage Escape collection, a new mix of bronzes and warm tones. YSL Beauté Gloss Volupté (Rose Denim) Hey heyyy to extra girliness! If you’re into a super feminine gloss, then Rose Denim is definitely the one. It’s all those Barbie vibes rolled in with shimmer – a really fun lip colour. It’s probably not something I’d wear that often (I’m more into my mauve and brown undertones), but it’s a real nice change from the usual orangey tones we get at this time of year.
