JANUARY FAVOURITES

As happy as I am to see the back of January (post Christmas blues & all that), it is a month where I enjoy working my way through newly acquired products. From some lovely bits I had for Christmas, to others I treated myself to when I wasn't quite so skint from the festivities, I've had the month to gather things together for a favourites video. Makeup wise I've found a couple of products that have gone straight to the top of my 'love list'. Most of what I've included here are items I've picked up based on reviews - it's always nice when beauty products live up to expectations!

 This is quite a chatty one, but sometimes it's nice to feel like you're having a bit of a natter! I love doing the short and sweet videos but when it's one where I'm talking I can end up with 30 minutes of video - although chances are 70% of it is me talking rubbish or where the camera is out of focus. Oh the joys of filming! Anyhoo, all product links are in the description as per! :)

Who isn’t a lover of a sparkly frock?! Okay, plenty of people, but even though I spend my life in all black, I’m still a fan of something glitzy. I’m super excited to see both brands on offer – I’m so obsessed with matte, liquid lipsticks and these are both shades I’ll wear on repeat. I’ve used a few of the Gerard Cosmetics  Hydra Matte Liquid Lipsticks  before, so I knew I’d be sold on ‘Everything Nice’ – it’s just a really lovely pink for daytime and evenings. PERSONAL SHOPPING AT TOPSHOP | PARTY OUTFIT IDEAS

Party season is the moooost wonderful time of the year, so when Topshop invited me in to check out their personal shopping service I was more than excited. As much as I love getting dolled up, I find the whole process of outfit hunting stressful – I’m pretty particular, so it usually takes me forever! Not only that, but I got to try the personal shopper experience in Topshop at Meadowhall… I love anything that’s blogging related and local! It’s nice to know that the rest of the country hasn’t been forgotten about, and we can all have an extra special shopping treat. I’ve been to a couple of personal shopping events before, and the team at Topshop didn’t disappoint! I was greeted with some dream boat outfits that the lovely Kirby, my personal stylist, had picked out for me. She found me so many pieces that were just my sort of thing! That’s all part of the service - you just give them a call, let them know what you’re after, tell them your size and they’ll do all the faffy...
