I’ll be wearing these dungarees until I can no longer fit in them, and at the rate I’m eating peanut butter, that could be soon. I’ve worn these on my blog repeatedly over the years, but they’re still an item I like. I’m a clothes hoarder, and if you read my blog regularly chances are you’re going to come on here and see something you’ve seen before. I’ve been wearing them most for work recently, as they’re a really easy option that don’t make me feel frumpy. Yeah, loads of days I just wear black trousers and a jumper, but sometimes that does feel a bit dull. Here I just wore them with my favourite shirt – it’s just a really oversized one from ZARA that I’ve worn relentlessly, for work and days off. With Monday almost here again (CRY), I thought I'd share a few of my go-to outfits for heading into the office. Admittedly I do have much more casual days, but I am a fan of the smart-ish wardrobe... I'd probably wear versions of these looks on days off anyway! To keep things more casual I tend to just go for boots instead of heels. It was actually a good few days since it had snowed and I completely underestimated how deep it would be up the top end of our garden. Nothing major, but definitely more than my slip on shoes could handle.. You can't see them, mostly because they're covered in bloody snow. I was planning some work outfits (makes life a million times easier when I'm rushing around at 6am with a pack of Belvita in hand) and ended up taking a few snaps while I was at it. Even though I did almost freeze a limb off I do like wintery looking pictures. I look back on them in the summer and wonder how the heck it was ever so cold! I've gone dead comfy here. I can't think of anything worse than being stuck at work in the trousers you have to jump about to get in or something too ...

I bought it as a bit of a treat for work (yep, when you're as tight with money as I am a £20 shirt from Zara is quite a big splurge..). It wasn't anything I'd planned to buy, I just liked it so I bought it. I know, I'm crrraaazy like that. I was going to put YOLO but that might have been a step too far. Anyhoo, I think I'm going to save it for when winter well and truly sets in. Long sleeved tops are a rarity in my wardrobe (I usually just layer up), so this can be for the colder, more fancy-schmancy days. Jewellery wise I've stacked up.
