HOLIDAY CASUALS

Image
Sunglasses - Celine / Jumpsuit - Boohoo / Snadals - New Look I think this jumpsuit was probably one of my favourite things on holiday, mostly because it pretty much feels like I'm wearing nothing. It's such a relaxed fit in an extra light fabric, just what I'm after when it comes to warmer temperatures. I could live quite happily in this sort of thing... Gimme hippy vibes any day of the week. I've still got a few other holiday outfits to show you, but I think I'm going to just stick to the main ones - this year I really tried to enjoy things more, rather than seeing it as an opportunity to stock up on blog content. I also kept my suitcase (semi) minimal - I got so sick of hearing myself saying 'I'm not taking all that next year I've hardly worn any of it' that I actually practised what I was preaching. Basics are the way forward.   youtube  /  bloglovin  /  twitter  /  facebook  /  pinterest  /  tumblr  /  in...

HOLIDAY EVENINGS | THE SLIP DRESS

Image
Dress - Primary / Bag - H&M / Sandals - New Look Day one of the holidays feels like a lonnnng time ago now... I’m still hoping I’ll fit another trip abroad in this year, but with lots of adult-y stuff going off it may have to wait ‘til the next. I so want to travel more. For the first evening I always just go for something comfortable. Chances are I’m a little bit pink and sleepy from traveling, so a relaxed fit is needed. I took a couple of these slip dresses away with me as they’re just right as looser options. Most of them I’ve picked up super cheap in Primark – if it’s just something simple like this I’m not bothered about it being mega fancy. I’m definitely struggling to beat the holiday blues flicking through snaps of that beach setting. Life by the sea is extra lovely.   SHOP THE LOOK JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. MENORCA VLOGGING | A WEEK IN THE SUN

Image
You know when you just need a week of doing very little? By the time holiday season comes round, that’s all I’m after. A week of relaxing, napping and having to think very little. God I love a little bit of time where my biggest decision is where to go for tea. Bliss! I’ve just shared a few clips from my holiday over on YouTube – I tried the whole vlogging thing this time round and for once it wasn’t a total flop… despite plenty of shuddery, out of focus bits that didn’t make the cut! I don’t think I’ll every be one for walking round talking into a camera, but I do like being able to put everything together to look back on. Blogging wise I’ve had over a week off, a first in probably four years. I think for my own sanity I just needed a bit of a break, but I’m really looking forward to getting back to it now! youtube  /  bloglovin  /  twitter  /  facebook  /  pinterest  /  tumblr  /  instag...

PRE HOLIDAY TANNING PREP WITH HE-SHI

Image
With a holiday coming up next week, I’m super excited at the thought of bikini life. On the other hand, the thought of baring my somewhat see-through flesh for all to see is a little bit daunting. Pre-holiday, I like to start things off with some tanning prep. In the lead up I’ve been using the He-Shi range, aiming for a really natural glow that’s going to give me some extra sun lounger confidence! I’m not a tanning expert, so I’ve really loved using these bits for no fuss bronzing – up to now I’ve found it pretty easy, with no major tanning disasters. Hurrah! In the couple of weeks before I head off on my hols I start the tanning process – it’s not epic, but I work through gradual tanner right up to instant, just to avoid glowing white on day one of the holidays. Stage 1 – Prep & Gradual Tan As tedious as it can be, I know a bit of prep goes a long way when it comes to tanning. To get things going I’ll start out a few days earlier with a...
