Events up north make my heart happy. Especially when they're in Sheffield. I always miss out on the good stuff down in London... I still work full time alongside blogging so getting darrrn sarrrth just isn't always an option. Sob. Anyhoo, with the  new goldsmiths.Boutique store opening in Meadowhall, it was a chance for me to finally head to a proper blogging event... It'd been a while!  I always love seeing new stores in Meadowhall, there have been some fab openings recently and boutique.Goldsmiths is another shopping spot to add to my favourites. They stock plenty of brands that are never good news for my bank balance - Michael Kors, Olivia Burton & Swarovski are a few favourites. With a few extra accessories thrown in and some DIY bodge job nails (not totally fabulous looking after a few days of wear, but they'll do). I only managed to get a few snaps on my way out, but I quite like this snippet kind of thing. I was only wearing tights and boots on my bottom half and there are only so many tights you can say about that.  With accessories, here I'm mostly wearing favourites. It's not really a full outfit, but there are few bits and bobs I can ramble on about.  Firstly the hair. I'm same old same old when it comes to my hair, so sticking a tiny bit of it up like this is different for me. I quite like this kind of thing especially when it's all looking a bit deshevilled (it definitely is). The only thing I would say is this.. NEVER THINK IT'S OKAY TO PUT YOUR HAIR IN AN ELASTIC BAND. It's one of my favourites but it's the kind you can only really wear on those extra chilly days. Granted, it's wasn't that chilly (yep, I am wearing shorts) here but I just wore this instead of something lighter with a coat. The shorts are a new pair from Oh My Love. They're super silky and kind of remind me of fancy pyjama bottoms. Where I've got something random slung on while I'm deciding what outfit to go for and end up taking a few snaps that don't really fit anywhere. Today the main thing here was the lippy and the tee. Both favourites you've probably seen before on here. It's Autumn, so naturally I'm obsessed with a dark lip, trying to be all Taylor Momsen and cool. It's so nice to be back to BBQ teas, lighter nights and making the most of my summer wardrobe. It gets to this time of year when I completely forget that I'll ever have to wear wooly tights or an extra layer under a jumper.. for now I'm quite happy to be in shorts & a t-shirt forever! As it's feeling extra summery, I've gone for a sunshine season essential - the playsuit. An all in one always feels like an easy option for me, mainly because you don't have to work out if things go together. For that, I can cope with having to get nearly nuddy whenever I need a wee. It's like a baby pink glitter ball and that for me is marvellous. Now I just need a night out to get dolled up in Outfit Two. Unfortunately, as I am Queen of having an insanely boring social life (I've only got dressed into my work uniform for the last two weeks.. sob!), the casual outfit is looking much more likely. To be fair, I actually love this glitzy number paired with the slouchy vest. It's definitely more 'me'.. and by that I mean that at least one item of clothing is as comfy as wearing PJs.
