LITTLE RED DRESS

Image
So this little tea dress quickly became the blogger's fave, didn't it?! I can definitely see why. It's a really flattering fit that seems to work well on loads of different shapes. As quite a petite person, I love something girly like this. The tie waist works well for me too - I'm always about something that pulls in my waist and skims over my hips... Anything to distract from my rather ample bottom half! I actually got this for a night out and wore it with these boots - I've no time for wibbly-wobbly heels these days. While I've seen this dress plenty in the blogosphere, I've not seen as much of it up in Sheffield. Flouncy little numbers like this are my favourite for evenings out, so it felt like a good purchase for girls night... I managed to justify the spend anyway, as I know I can wear it during the daytime too. Right, slobby Sunday awaits. I've spent the day stripping the house, so Netflix, chocolate & a duvet it is! FLOATY FLORAL DRESS

Image
Choker - eBay, Dress - c/o Loving Youth , Belt - Primark, Shoes - Office Rogue cat again. This time lurking in the background, having a bath. Marvellous.  Ignore my pesky kitty-kins and let's go back to what's important.. the outfit. Mainly, this girly little wonder of a dress. Oh how I'm loving its floaty, floral self. The lovely guys at Loving Youth actually named this after yours truly - how nice ey?! Not only is this a 'Lydia' dress, but it's super duper pretty with that peekaboo cut out midriff. Although I think I could be going for an 'underboob' flash. Hey, it's a look I can only get away with for so long.. there's no way I'm going to be showing off that area when the girls have somewhat lost their buoyancy. Must. Stop. Talking. About. Boobs. I've avoided going for my typical chunky boots and gone for some Office sandals. They're just a simple pair, but I know they'll go with everything and probably see m...

DAISY PRINT DRESS & CHUNKY BOOTS

Image
Hat - River Island, Choker - eBay, Dress - c/o Yayer , Boots - c/o La Moda I'm looking a little bit like a preggo bear here.. the wind was inflating my dress to the point that I thought I was going to have a Marilyn moment & frighten small children in the area. As you can probably tell (let's pretend I'm not covered in goosebumps..) I was being a tad optimistic weather wise & quickly realised that up north, it is still more than a bit nippy. Boo! Very jealous of anyone making the most of sunshine at the minute.. can summer just be now?! So yeah, I am indeedy trying to embrace S/S style, in the hope that it'll make it feel like warm days are just around the corner. This dress is my start on saying bye bye to winter. I wore daisy print last summer and will happily be doing the same this year. It just has that whole 90s sort of look that makes me think it'd fit right in with the My Mad Fat Diary costume department.. anyone else addicted to that...
