I actually really like this outfit. I’m notorious for being lazy when it comes to clothes. I’ll have a couple of items that I know I can wear and feel like I look alright in that I wear to death. My mum has even taken to trying to sneak a few of the said items out of my life via charity bags.. Pfft! Today I made more of an effort to not go for a boring outfit. This shirt is one of my top charity shop buys. I always think black & blue can be a dodgy colour combination, but I think the velvet makes it just about alright! 

I’ll definitely be wearing this dress for a night out in Leeds. I don't really go out much back home, so I had to find a way of mixing it into my typically casual wardrobe until I'm back at Uni.  

In the next week or so I’m thinking of doing a few posts relating to my hair & what I do with it. I know I love fashion blogs that have a few things like this mixed in.. and I do like to have a bit of variety. Hopefully, a few of you will be interested?!

BOOHOO BLOGGER SHOOT: BEHIND THE SCENES

This is sort of blog post where I could go on & on about everything and bore you all to death.. so if I do, I apologise. I will try to keep it short and sweet. Last week, I tripped off to Manchester for a day of girly events thanks to the lovelies at Boohoo . Our arrival was greeted with waffles.. as food is the way to my heart I was a very happy bunny. The rest of the day was all things glam.. make up, hair & lots of dressing up. After a busy Christmas interning & working, it was so nice to have a day filled with nice things. I don't have the time to get dolled up as much, so being pampered was much appreciated. The day was extra special as I got to meet the three gorgeous ladies above.. aren't they purrrdy?! It's always nice to meet people who 'get' blogging.. nobody minds if you sit there tweeting your every move & refuse to eat your food without taking a picture of it first.
