sheer, tie dye dress

Sunglasses – H&M, Dress – c/o Lashes of London , Bracelet – c/o Nunfish , Shoes – c/o Miss Ikon You’re going to have to excuse the sunglasses for a few days.. I’ve come down with a big bout of cold & am looking like a puffy eyed, runny nosed monster. Wah! I won't make the mistake of not wearing lippy again either.. Where has my mouth gone?! The minute the parcel arrived from Lashes of London I knew I had to take pictures sharpish. I’m honestly a bit too much in love with this dress. It’s like everything I like rolled into one. Bit of tie-dye, sheer, lots of black & the pretty little backless bit. I’m on the look-out for a black body con dress with a very low back to go under it.. I’ve made do with strategically placed hair for now! I’m going to wear it for my birthday meal out I think. I don’t want to feel too grown up & boring after all (the grand old age of 21 is very depressing!). I’m thinking I’ll end up wearing this wit...

Sunglasses - H&M, Crop Top - New Look, Jeans - H&M, Bag - c/o La Moda , Boots - c/o Miss Ikon Sometimes my favourite outfits are the ones that take the least time to pick out. I haven’t worn this top since I bought it almost a year ago. It’s quite a structured material, so I wanted to save it for the perfect night out. I think I’ll probably wear this outfit for a spontaneous night out.. not that they happen all that often! Ha.  Anyway, giveaway time. I’ve just reached 1200 followers so that works out quite well! The bag you can win is just like the one I’m using above, but in a tan colour. Gahhhd I love it! It’s such a great size & tassels are always a fave of mine. La Moda have the loveliest customer service, which is always great. It's a UK only giveaway (sorry!!) but I've got a handy 10% discount for all of you, just pop 'Lydia' into the checkout. a Rafflecopter giveaway   x

gothic bodycon dress

Hat - H&M, Choker & Neclace - DIY, Gothic Bodycon Dress - c/o Motel Rocks , Socks - Primark, Heelless Heels - c/o Miss Ikon Sorry about the last picture being blurry. I'm still working on this using a DSLR lark. It would seem that focusing is not my thing!  As I’ve said before, I don’t really go out at all in Sheffield. I hardly ever drink, and I’d rather save my money for when I’m back at Uni. However, when this dress arrived, I had to get glammed up. Again I could not be more in love with the Motel Rocks A/W patterns.. we all know I love something a little gothic! I wore it off the shoulders purely because I love that style, and I think you can get away with it in this dress. I’ve definitely got a thing for flashing a bit of collar bone.  Many of you on Twitter will have seen/been thoroughly bored by my constant tweets about getting a new phone & all the apps I’ve been playing with. I’ve ...

chunky knit & braces

Sunglasses - H&M, Jumper - c/o Miss Ikon , Skirt w/ braces - H&M, Shoes - c/o OASAP I’ve gone from my last post being pretty dressed up, to this one being rather casual. I suppose this outfit is actually a bit nerdy, with the big round glasses & braces. Hopefully the studded loafers toughen it up! I’ve been wearing these OASAP beauties with everything.. ankle socks, leggings, the whole shebang! I think the sizes do run a bit small, but I'm squishing my tooties in there until they stretch out.. I (depressingly) got them thinking they would be a sensible addition to my shoe collection for the colder months. Oh how I cannot wait for the return of woolly tights! Not. After Friday night at the pub I'm going to chill this evening with a take away & X Factor. I'm not a huge fan of it these days, but how can I say no if Nicole Scherzinger is there in all her gorgeous glory?! x

heelless platforms & new camera!!

Sunglasses - Primark, Choker - Bit of ribbon, Top - Matalan, Belt - Haven't a clue sorry!, Skirt - Primark, Shoes - c/o Miss Ikon I have a new baby. Not the crying/milk drinking kind, but in the form of a beautiful camera. I finally went & got my early 21 st birthday present.. a Canon 1100d! I had managed to save a reasonable amount of money for a new camera, but my lovely Nanna (aka Noo.. no idea where this name came from) decided that she would give me some birthday pennies early. BIG thanks to my little Noo, she’s on extra cuddles for months! I know you'll be looking at the pictures above thinking they look even worse than before, but this was my first attempt! I think I'll need a few weeks of practice. However, taking bloggy pictures is already a million times easier! Anyway, my first outfit post using my fancy new camera had to be wearing these amazing heels from Miss Ikon . I’ve wanted a pair like this forever, but was always ...
