I've done quite a few outfit layout posts on my blog before, but I'm thinking for the new year I'll try to make them more regular. To be honest, it's just nice to take my face out of the equation! Coat - Miss Selfridge, Oversized Tee - Urban Outfitters, Leg Chain - DIY, Platform Trainers - Charity Shop Every so often, I get that craving for something crafty. I just have to sit faffing around with something, whether it’s making friendship bracelets or a floral headband. A few weeks ago I made this little leg chain, after spending a while looking for a new form of procrastination. It’s really simple to make so I’m not going to go into a whole ‘Step One – Trip to Hobbycraft blah di blah’ ha.. but here’s the gist of it.   All I did was create a couple of loops of chain (just cheap stuff from a craft shop) big enough to pop my leg through, then attached them to a longer strip that had a safety pin on the end. That way I can just attach it to some part of whatever I’m wearing that isn’t visible.. the lining of short pockets is a good one! Could lime green & black look any cooler together?! I think I might have to get the matching scarf & gloves. Grey Midi Dress – Republic (£13.50 w/ Student Discount), Neon Hats – H&M (£7.99 Each), Black Tee – Urban Outfitters (£5), Fur Hat – H&M – (£7.99) I know there isn't much to this haul, but I thought some of you might fancy a look at a few high street bargains. The birthday money has finally run dry so I’m back to scrimping & saving. Boo. When I saw these neon hats I had to get both. We all know that I am a massive fan of black, so a little bit of colour that keeps my head toasty isn't going to kill me! The lime green one is so cute with my new Urban Outfitters tee. Their stuff is mostly out of my price range but when I went in they had a sale with quite a few bits for a fiver. Getting change from a tenner is much more like it.
