After a month or so of doing pretty well on the zero spending front, this was my treat to myself. I tried it on while I was having a window shopping moment.. I just wanted to see what I'd look like in something a little bit fancy, and this did look completely beautiful on the mannequin. 

So off I popped to the changing room for my little dressing up sesh.. The next thing I knew I'd spent nearly £60 on one outfit. I know for some people that's probably not a lot for a good quality set, but as a girl who needs a lie down when I spend over £30 in Topshop it was a biggie. I think I'm just getting to the stage where I want quality, not quantity. As much as I love getting a bag full of goodies from Primark, I think these days I'm probably better to buy one thing I really love than loads of bits & bobs I don't really need. 

Annnnd I'm so glad I decided to buy it. It's silky and soft, fits me just right (forever struggling to fit both my waist and rather ample bottom) and is something I can mix and match with other pieces. I wore the top to Katy Perry and the trousers are lush for summer. Miss Selfridge did guuuurd.

slogan tee & cherry disco pants

What do you think of the slogan?! I love it.. Such fun! Excuse the Miranda reference.. ‘such fun’ has now become part of my lingo. Ha. This is the closest I’ll be getting to anything Chanel related for a long time, which is fine by me.. it’s cute as a button. Fingers crossed though for one day earning enough mega bucks to end up flouncing around with a quilted 2.55 baby. Day dreaming yet again. Hopefully, you’re not all going to be turned off by a disco pants outfit. I know they’ve been overdone, but I’ve never really been the sort of person to be put off by something like that. PINK CHECKS & CHUNKY FLATFORMS

Coat - Boohoo, Dress - c/o Missguided , Shoes - c/o La Moda Don't shout at me, I'm in that coat again. Who'd have thought I'd get so much wear out of a pink coat?! I really didn't, but I've worn it loads. It's one of my top buys from this season, I'm just hoping the pastel coat trend lasts a good while so I can make the most of it.. I'm fancying a baby blue one next year. Let's be honest though, this coat was a dreamy little match for this dress. They're like baby pink little besties. Ha oh dear, I'll stop now. Anyway, I've been having a bit of a pastels love affair recently. It's getting me away from black and makes me feel mega girly, which I admittedly love.
