FAVOURITES THIS SEASON

I'm actually really enjoying this Autumn so far, especially for all the seasonal updates when it comes to fashion and beauty. I get to this time of year and I'm so ready to update my wardrobe and beauty routine. There’s just something quite exciting about bringing the faux fur and dark lippies out of retirement!

So favourites. Over the last month or so these are the bits I've been reaching for. Some are very A/W trend led, others are the really random bits & bobs I've just been loving... 

The White Company Fresh Fig Candle

Yeah, I’m a bit obsessed with The White Company, but this fragrance is really lovely. It’s got a sweetness to it without being overly sickly. Loverrrly for cosy evenings.

Dark Nails - Orly Nail Varnish 'Naughty'

If you follow me on Instagram you’ll have seen that I’ve been opting for short, dark nails recently. I’ve given up on long talons (I’m too clumsy and end up pinging them off), but I actually really like this look.. It just feels quite neat. My favourite polish at the minute is Orly ‘Naughty’. A super dark, wine colour.

Illamasqua Eye Shadow 'Tango'
My current go-to for a warm shadow. It's the sort that looks great as a wash of colour, or worn with other shadows for a bit of shimmer.

NARS Audacious Lipstick 'Deborah'

When I’m after an autumnal lipstick, this is it. Matte, dark and with a brownish tone to it. Nice.

Clarins Radiance Plus Booster

Fake an as an A/W favourite could be a bit random. I probably should be embracing being a pale Gail, but I’ve been obsessed with this stuff since my holibobs. If you haven’t seen it before, you add it as droplets to your regular moisturiser to tweak the level of bronzed goddess you’re looking for. At the minute I use a few drops every couple of days, just to avoid that Casper the Friendly Ghost thing. 

Origins Make A Difference Night Cream

My skin always has a bit of a freak out as the weather changes, and while it’s really oily I still need something to tackle the dry bits. This stuff is perfect for giving my skin a proper treat in the evening. 

Mirrored Phone Case

I just slung this one in there ‘cause it’s a bit of an eBay bargain. I only ever get phone cases from there because to put it simply, I’m tight. This one is nice and simple, doubling up as a mirror on the go. Haaandy.

Boohoo Suedette Jacket

A Boohoo number I’ve worn way too much, but I just love the colour! It’s like a dark tan shade, which actually goes with way more in my wardrobe than I thought.
