Headband - Topshop, Dress - c/o iKRUSH, Belt - Primark, Flatforms - Old, Clear Clutch - DIY (Well.. a clear plastic envelope I found lying around!)
I know, it’s not really a DIY if you just find something
lying around your house & change its purpose, but I wasn’t sure what else
to call it. I’ve seen this going around on the internet & knew I had an old
plastic envelope that could become a much loved clear clutch. Now, I’m not
saying it’s the design piece of the year but it’s alright to tie me over until
I find a cheap one on eBay! I actually think it looks pretty cool on the
pictures.. providing your bag isn’t full of rubbish. I know my bag usually has
old wrappers & enough tampons (maybe TMI hehe) to last me until the
menopause. Having a clear bag makes you cut down to the essentials. Do I really
need to take 4 pairs of sunglasses out with me?! No.
I’ve failed with looking fresh and summery haven’t I? I just
couldn’t resist a classic black maxi from iKRUSH. It’s only simple but I think it has maximum
impact. My mamma did say that I looked ‘very Evanesencey’.. I’m not quite
sure what that is but I think it’s something I can deal with. I’m
all for florals and girly outfits, but black is a classic.

Haha I love the comment about stuff in your bag! I'm exactly the same, SO many wrappers and always tampons floating around, always prepared. I learnt to carry them around everywhere after watching Sex and the City and Carrie gives the bitchy hostess a tampon and then she gets a table at the fancy restaurant haha!
