floral bustier & sports lux trousers

Bustier - c/o Lashes of London, Trousers - TK Maxx, Scrunchie - Primark, Boots - Aggy X Dr. Martens

Lashes of London are once again killing me (well.. my bank balance) with their ‘New In’ section. Everything is fun and girly but a bit different from the classic styles you see re-hashed everywhere. I’m very much a bustier sort of girl so this little cutie had to be added to my life. I’ve got it to wear with the matching skirt (twin set lover right here) but today I popped it with some cheapo sports lux esq trousers from TK Maxx. That's what I love about matching sets, you can get so many outfits out of them.

What does everyone think to this style of picture? For the first time ever, I let my mamma take them. Normally, I die a little if I even see her peeking at me through the kitchen window. I’m gradually becoming less awkward & shy thanks to blogging. It’s made me realise that it’s not such a big deal what other people think & I’ve learnt to be more confident about what I’m doing.. I’m happy, I’m not hurting anyone, so so what if I post a few silly pictures of myself on the internet?!

  15. I love the photos! It's such a nice feeling to be confident in what you're wearing (especially when you are taking photos of yourself in your backyard.. often in a singlet and skirt in the winter!) I've had a wee break from blogging but I'm back in full force, which means spending my morning catching up on your blog! xx

P.S. I swear I would've thought those pants were hideous if I had seen them anywhere other than on you!

  22. You always manage to find a bustier and dress it down into a really wearable daytime outfit! I would never think to wear those two items of clothing together but you pull it off so well. Oh and the style of your photos are nice and a bit more fun! Wahey to confidence.

  24. Hello Lydia,
I'm taking the freedom of leaving you a comment because I'm currently working on a fashion-related dissertation for my MSc. I'm doing a survey about the perception of young women towards today's fashion luxury brands, and if you, or any of your lovely reader, could take 5 mins and complete it, it would help me a lot :)
Here is the link of my survey: https://fr.surveymonkey.com/s/2WNTNCY
    Thank you very much!

  25. You look absolutely stunning! I love the bustier, it’s such a fab style. I wanted a similar from Zara, but was a bit unsure what to style it with, but now I know black works fine! :) Love the blog too. Xx
